Publisher review:Matlab UMFPACK - Multifrontal sparse LU factorization. UMFPACK is a set of routines for solving unsymmetric sparse linear systems, Ax=b, using the Unsymmetric MultiFrontal method. Written in ANSI/ISO C, with a MATLAB (Version 6.1 and later) interface. Appears as a built-in routine (for lu, backslash, and slash) in MATLAB. See also SuiteSparse, which includes UMFPACK.To install, cd to the UMFPACK/MATLAB directory and type umfpack_install in the MATLAB command window.NOTE: tested on 64-bit and 32-bit Linux, and 32-bit Windows.
